SEAPOL, founded in 1981, is a non-governmental network of high level scholars, government officials, and private individuals with a professional interest primarily in ocean affairs of the Southeast Asian and APEC regions. SEAPOL aims to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas related to current ocean law, policy and management in the region. It promotes this exchange through networking, sponsored research, training programmes, consultants, seminars as well as national, regional and international forums.
