Beim vorliegenden Literaturbericht nebst zugehöriger Bibliografie handelt es sich um historisch-politische Grundlagenforschung. Eine solche Studie zum Nationalsozialismus in Württemberg und Hohenzollern existiert bisher nicht. Die Berliner Historikerin Susanne Wein beschreibt zunächst die Entwicklungslinien und Zäsuren, wie und in welcher Form seit 1945 an den Nationalsozialismus in der Region erinnert wurde. Dabei stellt sie fest, dass sich systematische Aufarbeitung und deutlich gesteigertes, anhaltendes Interesse am Nationalsozialismus in Stuttgart und Württemberg erst seit den 1980er Jahren beobachten lassen. Die Abschnitte im Literaturbericht haben ihre Entsprechung in den Kapiteln der weit umfangreicheren Bibliografie. Aufgrund der Komposition von einführendem Literaturbericht und Bibliografie ist eine gelungene Handreichung entstanden, die ehrenamtliche und akademische Forschung gleichermaßen befruchten wird.

Teaching Research in Design
Since the 1990s, the concern to define areas of research in design has dominated academic debates. As a result, we are now facing a multitude of understandings. This is especially true for practice-based design research.
