Germany's Tiger Tanks D. W. to Tiger I
This first volume, of a three-volume set, covers the history, development and production history of the Tiger tank variants from the idea's conception to the end of Tiger I production. It includes details on the development series known as the D.W., VK 30.01(H), VK 30.01(P), VK 36.01(H), VK 45.01(P) as well as the Tiger I. All of this illustrated with scale drawings by Hilary L. Doyle, combined with drawings, sketches, and photographs depicting external modifications as well as internal views. Over thirty years of intensive research went into finding the original documents needed to create this history of the development, characteristics, and tactical capabilities of the Tiger. An exhaustive search was made for surviving records of the design/assembly firms (including Krupp, Henschel, Porsche, and Wegmann), the Heereswaffenamt, the Generalinspekteur der Panzertruppen, the D656 series of manuals on the Tiger, and the war diaries with their supporting reports from German army units. This is supplemented by the authors' collecting hundreds of photos and climbing over, under, around, and through nearly every surviving Tiger I.

Panzer Tracts No. 2-2 - Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. G, H, J, L. and M
Panzer Tracts No. 2-2 - Panzerkampwagen II Ausf.G, H, J, L, and M development and production from 1938 to 1943. As a result of digging through public and private archives for 38 years, we are able to create this accurate history of the very rare variants from the Pz.Kpfw.II family - the VK 901, VK 903, VK 1301, VK 1303, and VK 1601. Original drawings, documented measurements, and original wartime photographs were used to create four-view drawings of the VK 901 and VK 1601 (printed at 1/35th scale). Over a thousand hours were spent precisely measuring external details of the "Luchs" in order to create as-built drawings of all six views (including right side and belly) with both the VK 1301 and VK 1303 turrets in 1/24th scale. Even the smallest details are clearly discernable in the component drawings at 1/10th scale including the surprise feature of an Orterkompass mounted on the turret roof. This 56 page book is illustrated with over 50 drawings and 41 clean/rare photos.
Germany's Tiger Tanks
Tiger ! - the very name that Allied troops feared. It came to symbolize the superiority of German tank design. This book has been created as a photo essay showing the best available and rare photographs of Tigers with units at the front. No tank that the Allies fielded in World War II was comparable to this combination of the 88mm gun with massive armor protection. Allied tankers didn't think that they stood a chance of defeating these formidable Tigers. They only hoped that these heavy tanks would breakdown, become immobilized in soft ground, or be damaged by lucky hits on vulnerable points.

Extensive measurement of the Panther II chassis prove that its design is completely different than the Panther Ausf.F chassis. We have selected the unique approach of using 1/10th scale drawings to illustrate the smallest details, while six-view (including right side and belly) 1/35th scale drawings are still used for the complete Panther. We also created ?flat-plane? drawings of many components to assist modelers in making accurate parts that would be hard to replicate if only drawn at the angle in which they are actually mounted. Panzer Tracts No. 19 - Beute-Panzerkampfwagen - Czech, Polish, and French Tanks captured from 1939 to 1940 - Thanks to the efforts of Werner Regenberg in concentrating his 30 year research career on Beute-Panzer used by the German army in WWII, this book is loaded with new information on the history, organizational structure, unit strength, tactics, and types of Beute-Panzer issued to each unit. Having contacted veterans from practically every Beute-Panzer unit, Werner Regenberg has compiled a massive archive of original documents and photographs directly linked to each unit. This book is also loaded with new information on the history, production, unit organization, issue, tactics, and wartime reports from front-line units.
