Structure and Function of Glutathione S-Transferases provides some of the latest information available on a variety of structural and functional components of glutathione S-transferases, a family of isozymes involved in many endogenous and exogenous functions in cells. Molecular studies presented in the book focus on the regulation of these enzymes and identify important response elements. X-ray crystallographic structures show detailed information on the structural aspects of these proteins. The first edition of Protein Purification Protocols (1996), edited by Professor Shawn Doonan, rapidly became very successful.
