Äntligen sommarlov! Türkan slutar den femåriga grundskolan i Midyat och ser fram emot en trevlig sommar i sin födelseby Enhil där mormor bor. Men sommaren blir inte riktigt som Türkan har tänkt sig. Det blir en tid där både födelse och död är närvarande, en tid fylld av glädje, men också stor sorg. Türkans föräldrar pratar om en flytt till Istanbul, så sommaren med mormor är kanske den allra sista. Vad ska då hända med Türkans födelsehus? Och med mormor? Och med pappas häst? Hur länge till kommer hon att få sova på hustaket under månen och stjärnorna? Marina Andersson har skrivit en delvis självbiografisk berättelse som utspelas i mellanöstern 1976, på den tiden det inte fanns elektricitet i byn. Inspirationen till Flickan i Enhil kom från hennes återresa till Midyat där hon hade gått ut den femåriga grundskolan. Med boken vill hon belysa hur det var förr i tiden för barn och ungdomar.

This monograph dicsusses phonetic, morphological and semantic features of the ‘Altaic’ Sprachbund (i.e. Turkic, Mongolic and Tungusic) elements in Yeniseian languages (Kott, Assan, Arin, Pumpokol, Yugh and Ket), a rather heterogeneous language family traditionally classified as one of the ‘Paleo-Siberian’ language groups, that are not related to each other or to any other languages on the face of the planet.
