Who hasn’t dreamed of seeing matter transformed in a way that suits you? This is the goal of 4D printing, using materials that can change in terms of shape and property under the effect of energy stimulation. From the description of the actions and actuators, the authors show the weaknesses that limit the industrialization of 4D printing processes; these are the modes of energy stimulation. To prepare for the future, two chapters are introduced: “Material-Process Duality in Industrial 4D Printing” and “How to Approach 4D Printing in Design”. If the capture and reuse of 4D printing knowledge is necessary for this objective, the conclusion leaves the existing myth around the 4D printing theme and proposes a “draft” roadmap that should be the subject of reflection and scientific debate on a concept that is still immature, but full of promise.

The second, completely updated edition of this book offers an evidence based guide for clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists and other clinicians working with trauma survivors in various settings. The focus of this Research Topic is on research that aims to understand the relationships between pre-migration stressors and potentially traumatic experiences, post-migration living difficulties, and mental health in refugees of both sexes throughout the lifespan. We know very little about how concepts of assessing and treating mental health conditions actually work when applied to traumatized refugee populations from different cultures (e.g., the Yazidis people from northern Iraq). Moreover, there is also a great need to better understand the relationship between mental health and refugees’ integration in their host countries’ societies (acquiring language skills, fitness for work, economic independence, private life, etc.). This Research Topic will also focus on the issue of culture—the extent to which concepts of mental health care can translate and be implemented in different social, economic, and cultural settings around the world.
The controls used on emotional arousal and cognitive processes are difficult in several societies, because of the presence of beliefs in several more issues and forces, which influence the bidirectional to and fro journey of effects between mental health and mental illness. Human beings in general accept only experiential methods of verifications and approval of reality, when they come in contact with their own mental and physical conditions. However, many may still be influenced by suggestions and produce experiences as per suggestions, which may not respond to scientific methods of verifications and corrections. Mental health and diseases, mainly in the domain of emotional health may therefore be affected by beliefs and psychological effects produced from cognitive processes and cognitive molding of emotions. Interventions in the cognitive and emotional domains do often work and changes may be brought out at the psychological and biological levels
