Retrobat a finals del segle XIX a la catedral de Girona, l’anomenat fins ara Tapís de la Creació és una de les grans obres universals de l’edat mitjana. La seva importància rau tant en el fet de ser un teixit d’unes dimensions considerables, com en el complex programa d’imatges que el caracteritza. L’'evolució del paisatge forestal a les terres gironines a la segona meitat de segle XX
Aquesta monografia té com a objectiu establir i caracteritzar les principals etapes de l'evolució del paisatge forestal de les comarques gironines entre 1950 i l'any 2000. Per a fer-ho s'utilitzen fonts d'informació diverses, tant de caràcter quantitatiu com qualitatiu (estadístiques, cartografia, fotografies històriques i actuals, textos literaris, entrevistes...), juntament amb un nombre considerable d'elements gràfics, fotogràfics i cartogràfics, no només com a il·lustracions sinó com a elements argumentals. La pretensió és oferir una visió holística de l'evolució i la percepció del paisatge forestal, posant èmfasi en l'impacte de les activitats econòmiques i dels incendis, per plantejar potencials escenaris paisatgístics de futur.
Crime and Art
This volume brings together work by authors who draw upon sociological and criminological methods, theory, and frameworks, to produce research that pushes boundaries, considers new questions, and reshape the existing understanding of "art crimes", with a strong emphasis on methodological innovation and novel theory application. Criminologists and sociologists are poorly represented in academic discourse on art and culture related crimes. However, to understand topics like theft, security, trafficking, forgery, vandalism, offender motivation, the efficacy of and results of policy interventions, and the effects art crimes have on communities, we must develop the theoretical and methodological models we use for analyses. The readership of this book is expected to include academics, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of criminology, sociology, law, and heritage studies who have an interest in art and heritage crime.
