In the current scenario, marked by a continual improvement in living standards, it becomes imperative to boost the productivity as well as the efficiency of agriculture, especially horticulture, which holds the potential for significant economic prosperity aligning with Sustainable Development Goal number 8, "Decent Work and Economic Growth". Modern technological interventions, such as geospatial technology and geographic information system (GIS) technology, can be harnessed to yield effective results in addressing challenges and providing enhanced decision support, particularly in the planning of horticultural resource management. The International Politics of Eurasia: v. 4: The Making of Foreign Policy in Russia and the New States of Eurasia

This ambitious ten-volume series develops a comprehensive analysis of the evolving world role of the post-Soviet successor states. Each volume considers a different factor influencing the relationship between internal politics and international relations in Russia and in the western and southern tiers of newly independent states. The collapse of the Soviet Union and the discrediting of Marxism-Leninism as a source of political legitimacy have prompted a search for fresh principles of political organization that will shape the nature of political culture in all the post-Soviet countries. This volume looks at the making of foreign policy in Russia and the new states of Eurasia.

Migration from Central Asia

Migration from Central Asia analyzes migration from Turkestan to Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and the United States and the identity formation of these people living in different countries. It also deals with younger generations and their views about homeland, sense of belonging, and identity. Using oral history methods, the book focuses on migrants from Turkestan in the 1930s. The book includes in-depth interviews as well as short surveys with those who migrated and their children. Focusing on what families experienced during migration, how they made their living, how they lived in these different countries, and how they preserved their language, traditions, and culture, the author presents an overall picture of these migrants and how and why language and traditions, which are central cultural elements, have been preserved. The analysis in this book contextualizes the change in the structure of migration and identity formation and the emergence of the notion of Turkestanian migrants. It will be of interest to academics studying Turkish World Studies, Central Asian Studies, and migration studies as well as identity and cultural studies, ethnic studies, and nationalism.

Yeryüzüne yeni bir can gelmiştir.

Hoca Ahmet Yesevi'nin Türk Tarihindeki Yeri
