Information and Communication Technologies
This book constitutes refereed proceedings of the 8th Conference on Information and Communication Technologies of Ecuador, TICEC 2020, held in November 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held online. The 36 full and 7 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 117 qualified submissions. El estudio presente, el mismo que desbroza las consecuencias subjetivas en el sujeto denominado adolescente, integrante de una comunidad específica tras el terremoto del 16 de abril de 2016 en Bahía de Caráquez, se consagra como una inmersión profunda en las complejidades del proceso de desarrollo y la construcción de subjetividad en contextos adversos. Surge en un marco de investigación e intervención cualitativos, bajo el método de recolección de la historia personal, para dar un salto al protagonismo de esa novela personal-familiar contada, a la vez traumática, pero también embrollada.

El proyecto inicial, es un proyecto PRD, financiado por el ARES (Academia de investigación y de enseñanza superior de la Federación Valonia-Bruselas de Bélgica), con el título, Fortalecimiento de espacios de mediación comunitaria de jóvenes en situaciones de violencia y de sufrimiento psico- sociales (Brackelaire, Egas, Espinosa & Périlleux, 2017) y extendiéndose de 2017 a 2022.
