Ukraine Russia Conflict

In March and April 2021, Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian military to deploy thousands of people and equipment along its border with Ukraine and in Crimea, the greatest mobilization since the 2014 invasion of Crimea. This caused a crisis and invasion fears. Satellite photography indicated armour, missiles, and heavy weapons. The forces were largely evacuated by June 2021, but in October and November 2021, over 100,000 Russian troops massed around Ukraine on three sides. The 2014 Russo-Ukrainian War and the War in Donbas caused the problem. In December 2021, Russia advanced two draft treaties containing "security guarantees," including a legally binding promise that Ukraine would not join N...

The Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits

The Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits or Hindus is their migration from the Kashmir valley in Indian-administered Kashmir in the early 1990s as a result of growing insurgency violence. Eighty to ninety percent of the total population of 1.2 million to 1.4 million pandits evacuated or were forced to leave the valley; those who refused were executed. During the period of significant migration, the insurgency was led by a movement advocating for a secular and independent Kashmir, but there was also an increasing number of Islamic factions advocating for an Islamic state. Targeted assassinations of high-profile leaders created an atmosphere of dread and panic throughout the state. The migration was caused by the Indian government's absence from the state and the lack of safety assurances.

Prithviraj Chauhan - a Light on the Mist in History

Canvas of the Chauhan King’s life has been unfurled. From the desert of Bikampur to beyond the Chambal ravines. Shiwalik hills to the peaks of Aravali. This book flies with the undaunted Prithviraj, witnessing the formation of history. It locks horns with his controversies and observes their vast ramifications at the curves of Indian destiny. The author acknowledges a widening divide between facts and the current mainstream narrative on Prithviraj who is a brand ambassador of India's engrossing medieval History. With this work, Virendra has eyed to shoot down every myth about Prithviraj and free the young Indian hero’s truth from the claws of fringe camps of new and old propaganda. The book makes use of more than 100 authentic sources to substantiate it's data and applies methodical theory formation to put forth its arguments.
