John Ramsden Armitage Diaries
This collection consists of a photocopy of two hand-written journals (1884), with full typescript for each. The journals were kept by John R. Armitage who was part of the Montana Company Ltd. of England that purchased the Drumlummon Mine from Thomas Cruse in 1882. The journals were kept during a business trip taken by Armitage to the mine site.
