William Bennett (1757-1833) was born in York, Pennsylvania and later died in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He married Grace Davis (1760-1843). Ancestry is traced to Bennetts of Worchestershire, England and Edward Bennett (1659-1714) who immigrated to Pennsylvania ca. 1685.
