This is H. G. Wells' 1924 biography of Frederick William Sanderson, "The Story of a Great Schoolmaster." Frederick William Sanderson (1857 - 1922) was the headmaster at Oundle School between 1892-1922 and was a an esteemed reformer of education at Oundle and Dulwich College. Wells was a close friend of Sanderson's, and even sent his own sons to his school.
