As the outcome of the tenth international congress (Current Debates in Social Sciences), the papers in this volume cover a wide range of topics related to the main theme of the conference, titled “Current Debates in Social Sciences”, and basically focus on economics, finance and econometrics. Even though most of the papers deal with the empirical analysis on economics and finance, there are also studies on econometrics analysis. The Book of Dede Korkut is a collection of twelve stories set in the heroic age of the Oghuz Turks, a nomadic tribe who had journeyed westwards through Central Asia from the ninth century onwards.
