Stochastic Network Calculus
Network calculus is a theory dealing with queuing systems found in computer networks. Its focus is on performance guarantees. Central to the theory is the use of alternate algebras such as the min-plus algebra to transform complex network systems into analytically tractable systems. To simplify the ana- sis, another idea is to characterize tra?c and service processes using various bounds. Computational Pathology and Ophthalmic Medical Image Analysis
This book constitutes the refereed joint proceedings of the First International Workshop on Computational Pathology, COMPAY 2018, and the 5th International Workshop on Ophthalmic Medical Image Analysis, OMIA 2018, held in conjunction with the 21st International Conference on Medical Imaging and Computer-Assisted Intervention, MICCAI 2018, in Granada, Spain, in September 2018.
