Ilmu Anatomi adalah ilmu pengetahuan yang mempelajari kronologi masalah anatomi mulai dari kejadian pemeriksaan kurban persembahan pada masa purba hingga analisa rumit akan bagian-bagian tubuh oleh para ilmuwan modern. Dalam perkembangannya, manusia kian memahami fungsi-fungsi dan struktur tubuh melalui ilmu anatomi. Metode pemeriksaan selalu berkembang, dari pemeriksaan tubuh hewan, pembedahan mayat, sampai ke teknik-teknik kompleks yang dikembangkan pada satu abad terakhir.
