This book discusses LGBTI+ childhood from a critical, interdisciplinary perspective with the aim of contributing to a better understanding of the complex relationship between sexuality, gender and childhood. Placing adultcentrism at the centre of the analytical inquiry, the international range of contributors consider experiences and subjectivities of children, their families and significant contexts. Topics covered include public policies, professional practices and care provision, as well as the tensions and contradictions stemming from the logics of otherness and exceptionality which populate dominant discourses, representations and practices around sex and gender in childhood. This book is intended for researchers and students in gender studies, sexuality studies, education, health, childhood studies and sociology.

This book chronicles the city's survival in personal, familial, and cultural memory.
A tongue-in-cheek textbook for how to live in our modern age.

These advances indicate that many of our existing assumptions about testimony and models for working with it need to be revisited. The purpose of this Palgrave Handbook is to do just that by bringing together a wide range of disciplinary, theoretical, methodological, and practice-based perspectives.

Many of the interview archives are easily accessed, including some that are available in the Internet for free. While teachers are hesitant in making use of this treasure of source materials, learners are familiar with the figure of the eye-witness as communicated via film and television. But what can be taught with the help of what in cinematographic terms is often criticised as "talking heads"? What constitutes a good learning setting?
