Heute sind die Angehörigen dieser »neuen Klasse« selbst dem Spekulationskapital unterworfen, einer unbezwingbaren Schlaufe aus Zukunftsängsten, Ratenzahlungen, Krediten und Hypotheken-Rückzahlungen, die sie auf die Straße treibt.
