UIN Sunan Kalijaga adalah perguruan tinggi inklusif pertama di Indonesia. Selain terdapat pusat layanan yang mendukung terwujudnya pendidikan inklusif, ada banyak kegiatan yang mendukung berkembangnya kajian dalam bidang disability studies.
