Geometric Aspects of Dwork Theory
This two-volume book collects the lectures given during the three months cycle of lectures held in Northern Italy between May and July of 2001 to commemorate Professor Bernard Dwork (1923 - 1998). Applications of Curves over Finite Fields
This volume presents the results of the AMS-IMS-SIAM Joint Summer Research Conference held at the University of Washington (Seattle). This volume contains refereed papers on themes explored at the AMS-IMS-SIAM Summer Research Conference, Commutative Algebra: Syzygies, Multiplicities, and Birational Algebra, held at Mount Holyoke College in 1992. Several Complex Variables in China
Today, there is increasing interest in complex geometry, geometric function theory, and integral representation theory of several complex variables. The present collection of survey and research articles comprises a current overview of research in several complex variables in China. The Gelfand Mathematical Seminars, 1993–1995
The Seminar has taken place at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, since 1990 and it has become a tradition, starting in 1992, that the Seminar be held during July at IHES in Bures-sur-Yvette, France. This is the second Gelfand Seminar volume published by Birkhauser, the first having covered the years 1990-1992. Most of the papers in this volume result from Seminar talks at Rutgers, and some from talks at IHES.
