Tratamento cirurgico da ulcera cloridropeptica
O autor analisa, retrospectivamente, 741 casos de tratamento cirurgico da ulcera peptica gastroduodenal, realizados no Servico de Cirurgia do Hospital das Clinicas da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, entre os anos de 1967 a 1984. Utilizou-se como procedimento cirurgico a Vagotomia Troncular, Antrectomia Parcial e Gastroduodenostomia na pequena curvatura (VAGDPC), tecnica descrita por Resende Alves, em 1967 e, modificada e colocada em pratica por Lazaro da Silva. Encontrou-se uma mortalidade global de 0,53 por cento sendo a morbidez de 5,12 por cento. A estenose da boca anastomotica foi de 2,83 por cento; fistula, 0,8 por cento e a recidiva ulcerosa de 0,67 por cento. Nao se encontrou nenhum caso de sindrome de "dumping". Destaca, alem do mais, aspectos praticos da tecnica, ressaltando aspectos fisiopatologicos e tecnicos que justificam seu uso no arsenal terapeutico da ulcera cloridropeptica. (AU).
