Fidélité à l'éclair
Chaque poème a quelque chose de l'éclair. Je ne dirais pas que le poème " est " un éclair, mais qu'il y a en lui un éclair. Tel est le point de départ, il implique une exigence, mais il est très difficile d'être fidèle à un éclair, de faire en sorte que le poème s'organise, croisse comme un organisme autour de cet éclair, cette petite illumination initiale. Très difficile qu'ensuite ne vienne pas s'y ajouter tout ce qui relève du caprice, de la virtuosité de celui qui connaît le langage. Non : il faut que les choses naissent comme naît un organisme, comme elles naissent dans un organisme ; que chaque cellule en laisse passer une autre, que chaque mot, chaque silence soient à l'origine d'un autre mot, d'un autre silence, qu'ils engendrent ce cycle, cette unité qu'est aussi un poème.
