This paper proposes a new cumulative sum (CUSUM) X chart under the assumption of uncertainty using the neutrosophic statistic (NS). The performance of the new chart is investigated in terms of the neutrosophic run length properties using the Monte Carlo simulations approach.
This thirteenth volume of Collected Papers is an eclectic tome of 88 papers in various fields of sciences, such as astronomy, biology, calculus, economics, education and administration, game theory, geometry, graph theory, information fusion, decision making, instantaneous physics, quantum physics, neutrosophic logic and set, non-Euclidean geometry, number theory, paradoxes, philosophy of science, scientific research methods, statistics, and others, structured in 17 chapters (Neutrosophic Theory and Applications; Neutrosophic Algebra; Fuzzy Soft Sets; Neutrosophic Sets; Hypersoft Sets; Neutrosophic Semigroups; Neutrosophic Graphs; Superhypergraphs; Plithogeny; Information Fusion; Statistics;...
To detect indeterminacy effect in the manufacturing process, attribute control chart using neutrosophic Weibull distribution is proposed in this paper. To make the attribute control chart more efficient for persistent shifts in the industrial process, an attribute control chart using Weibull distribution has been proposed recently. In this study, a neutrosophic Weibull distribution-based attribute control chart develop for efficient monitoring of the process. The indeterminacy effect was studied with the control chart’s performance using characteristics of run length. In addition, the proposed chart effectively detected shifts in uncertainty. The relative efficiency of the proposed structure is compared with the existing attribute control chart under the Weibull timetruncated life test. The relative analysis reveals that the proposed time-truncated control chart for Weibull distribution under uncertainty design performance more efficiently than the existing counterparts.
In this article a repetitive group sampling control has been introduced for the neutrosophic statistics under the Conway-Maxwell-Poisson (COM-Poisson) distribution. The suggested chart has been compared with the existing plan using simulated data generated from neutrosophic COM-Poisson distribution. The practical implementation of the suggested chart has also been expounded using the data from the manufacturing of the electric circuit boards. Overall, the results demonstrate that the suggested chart will be a proficient addition in the control chart literature. It is also observed that the suggested chart is an ideal chart when applied under appropriate conditions.
In this paper we show that Neutrosophic Statistics is an extension of Interval Statistics, since it deals with all kinds of indeterminacy (with respect to data, inferential procedures, probability distributions, graphical representations, etc.), allows for indeterminacy reduction, and uses neutrosophic probability which is more general than imprecise and classical probabilities, and has more detailed corresponding probability density functions. Whereas Interval Statistics only deals with indeterminacy that can be represented by intervals. And we respond to the arguments of Woodall et al [1]. We show that not all indeterminacies (uncertainties) can be represented by intervals. Moreover, in some applications, we should use hesitant sets (which have less indeterminacy) instead of intervals. We redirect the authors to Plitogenic Probability and Plitogenic Statistics which are the most general forms of Multivariate Probability and Multivariate Statistics respectively (including, of course, Imprecise Probability and Interval Statistics as subclasses).
Edible oils and fats are derived from plants and animals and have several health benefits. Edible oils and fats consist of many health-promoting bioactive compounds such as polyunsaturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids, polyphenols, flavonoids, phytosterols, vitamins, and inorganic compounds. The chemical compounds present in edible oils and fats are known for their possible health risks such as coronary heart disease and metabolic diseases, which is why there is a need to check the quality, purity, and safety of edible oils and fats. Bioactive Compounds of Edible Oils & Fats: Health Benefits, Risks, and Analysis provides an overview of different edible oils and fats, health benef...
The Sexual Violence and Impunity in South Asia research project (coordinated by Zubaan and supported by the International Development Research Centre) brings together, for the first time in the region, a vast body of knowledge on this important – yet silenced – subject. Six country volumes (one each on Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and two on India) comprising over fifty research papers and two book-length studies detail the histories of sexual violence and look at the systemic, institutional, societal, individual and community structures that work together to perpetuate impunity for perpetrators. Disputed Legacies focuses on Pakistan, examining law, pedagogy, medical practice and the situations that arise when ‘secular’ law comes into conflict with traditional practice and belief. The contributors to this volume trace the often-troubled interaction between the state and its women citizens and examine the structures and social systems that enable impunity for perpetrators of sexual violence to gain strength.

This book discusses new and innovative trends and techniques in the removal of toxic and or refractory pollutants through various environmental biotechnological processes from wastewater, both at the laboratory and industrial scale. It focuses primarily on environmentally-friendly technologies which respect the principles of sustainable development, including the advanced trends in remediation through an approach of environmental biotechnological processes from either industrial or sewage wastewater. Features: Examines the fate and occurrence of refractory pollutants in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and the potential approaches for their removal. Highlights advanced remediation procedures involving various microbiological and biochemical processes. Assesses and compares the potential application of numerous existing treatment techniques and introduces new, emerging technologies. Removal of Refractory Pollutants from Wastewater Treatment Plants is suitable for practicing engineers, researchers, water utility managers, and students who seek an excellent introduction and basic knowledge in the principles of environmental bioremediation technologies.
