The aim of this monograph was to study a problem that is occurring on a global scale and, above all, in the most developed countries, which is the population emigration from rural areas to urban areas due to the labour and service opportunities offered by the latter. Las Politicas Europeas Leader y Proder En Extremadura (Espana)
En esta publicacion se ha analizado el impacto de las Politicas Europeas de Desarrollo Rural en base territorial: la Iniciativa LEADER y el Programa PRODER en Extremadura en los ultimos quince anos. Se han utilizado tecnicas estadisticas (Analisis de Componentes Principales) y Sistemas de Informacion Geografica para comprobar las intensas relaciones entre la gestion de estas politicas y las estructuras demograficas y socioeconomicas de los territorios donde se han implementado. In this book the impact of the European Politics of Rural Development in territorial base has been analyzed: Initiative LEADER and Program PRODERs in Extremadura in the last fifteen years. Statistical techniques have been utilized (Analysis of Main Components) and Geographic Information System to verify the intense relations between the management of these politics and the socioeconomic and demographic structures of the territories where had been implemented."
