Romance Objects
The volume brings together the papers read at the international conference on Romance Objects organized by the Linguistics Department of the Roma Tre University. Cassandra evolves from the Five Points Slums to become a famous fashion designer on Fifth Avenue New York. All the socialites in the city adore her. When she and Max meet again at the Hartman's Annual Fall Ball, a distant fire erupts and Max begins to fall in love with her. The trists between them become erotic and lusty, it is only a game for Cassandra. There are other suitors that give the story an element of enticement for women readers. The women in New York want social change and the story delves into their fights for freedom. They are called "The New Women of New York" The story is a page-turner. Lots of historical facts and erotica. A must-read!
