This volume brings together new scholarship by Indonesian and non-Indonesian scholars on Indonesia’s cultural history from 1950-1965. During the new nation’s first decade and a half, Indonesia’s links with the world and its sense of nationhood were vigorously negotiated on the cultural front. Sekitar Puisi: Kumpulan Tulisan
Soeria Disastra lahir di Bandung, 28 Mei 1943. Tahun 1980-1990-an mulai aktif menulis esai, puisi, prosa dan cerpen dalam bahasa Indonesia, menerjemahkan karya prosa dan puisi Tionghoa dan bahasa Indonesia, menerjemahkan karya prosa dan puisi Tiongkok ke dalam bahasa Indonesia, dan sebaliknya menerjemahkan puisi-puisi Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Tionghoa. Juga sesekalimenerjemahkan cerpen Tiongkok ke dalam bahasa Sunda dan sebaliknya. Tulisan-tulisannya dimuat pada koran harian dan majalah berbahasa Tionghoa di Indonesia dan harian lokal berbahasa Indonesia, di samping pada berbagai majalah berbahasa Tiongghoa di Hukong, Singapura, Malaysia dan Tiongkok. Selain itu, karyanya banyak pula yang sudah diterbitkan dalam beentuk buku. Dua buku hasil terjemahannya: Kumpulan Puisi Baru Tiongkok dan Puisi Klasik Tiongkok diterbitkan oleh Pustaka Jaya (2022).
