Correspondence to Thomas Brown and his wife Margaret Brown (nee Mungavin), in Victoria, from Thomas Brown's family in England. Correspondence dates from 1867-1894. Also contains a photograph album with photographs of Thomas and Margaret Brown, their children, and grandchildren; a copy of the family tree; marriage certificate, and death certificate; research papers on the family history. Travel diraries of the Byrne family, which include a diary of Margaret Byrne (Thomas Brown's daughter) of a trip to Japan in 1936; a travel diary of Frank and Margaret Byrne to Europe in 1956; an additional diary detailing journeys in the East, Philippines, and China also in 1936; and a diary of a trip to Japan 1968-69.
