Our New Neighbors is based on events that actually happened. Mama Bear visited our backyard with her twin bear cubs from early spring to late fall. There are tons of fun photos of them playing in our hammock and learning right from wrong. It is a story I hope you will want to share with your friends and family.
In 1723 a number of Palatine families were allowed to take up lands in the Mohawk Valley of New York. Those settling in the bounds of the present county of Herkimer were known as the Burnetsfield Patentees, after the name of the grant made by New York Governor William Burnet, and are the subject of this formidable work. This book deals with the families established in the area before the Revolution, and detailed genealogies are given for almost 100 of them.
The types of findings included for each category include program characteristics, services, strategies, staffing, outreach, educational material needs, successes, and additional observations. Various types of maternal and infant health resources (coalitions, clearinghouses, books and directories) are identified. A copy of the survey instrument and the names and addresses of survey respondents are provided.
