La creatividad y su influencia económica en las comunidades autónomas españolas
El crecimiento económico y la mejora de la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos es una de las mayores preocupaciones de los gobiernos y de la sociedad en su conjunto, más aún en un contexto de crisis económica y financiera como el actual, donde adquiere una mayor relevancia el análisis de estas cuestiones y de los factores que las modulan. Es en realidad ésta una vieja cuestión que ha centrado durante mucho tiempo el debate dentro de la literatura económica. En los albores del presente siglo, el profesor Richard Florida aporta un nuevo enfoque que llama de las clases creativas que descansa básicamente en el papel primordial que asigna al grupo de trabajadores empleados en ocupaciones definidas como creativas, como factor explicativo del crecimiento. La aplicación y análisis de esta metodología, al caso de España, es el cuerpo central del presente libro, de tal forma que podamos valorar y conocer la distribución del índice de creatividad y de los tres indicadores que lo constituyen (talento, tecnología y tolerancia) entre las Comunidades Autónomas españolas.
