Charles H. Hart University of Deseret Notebook
The notebook consists of notes he took in classes at the University of Deseret in the winter and spring of 1886. Pages 1 to 86 are notes from a botany class taught by Professor Howard. Pages 87 to 160 are notes of Normal Methods taught by well-known scholar Dr. John R. Park. Some of the notes appear using different letters (probably the Deseret Alphabet).

The Charles Henry Hart Family
Charles H. Hart was born in 1866 in Idaho. His parents were early members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was married twice to Adelia Greenhalgh and Lalene Hendricks and had 12 children. He practiced law and was later a member of the 1st Quorum of the Seventy. Information on his many descendants are included in these two volumes. Most are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have remained in the intermountain west giving service to their church, community and families.
