Philip and Christian turned at the same time to Kalif. He did not feel like smiling, but did it anyway. "Nice future, don't you think?" "Great," said Christian sarcastic. "Don't you have a say in what you want to do? Aren't you afarid?" asked Philip. Kalif wanted to laugh, but did not make it. "That is the wonderful thing about destiny. My feelings towards everything have hardly any meaning, but they are far beyond fear."
