Stop the Medicine!

Stop the Medicine tells the true story of how a medical doctor, dying from an incurable disease in the midst of her medical training in the late 1990's, fought desperately for her life by following natural and alternative healing methods. In the process of healing, she would take on an entirely different view of the meaning of symptoms and disease, and would end up leaving conventional medicine completely to help heal her patients naturally. Stop The Medicine is a passionate, frank, humorous, informative, shocking, and unparalleled look at the medical establishment from an insider's view. This extraordinary book opens hospitals doors that had previously been marked, "Hospital Personnel Only!...

Inspired by classical African meta-physics, Asar Imhotep (The Black Lotus) has compiled a compelling collection of essays and poetry that reflects his insights and perspectives on various issues, including the relevance of Satan, the error in obtaining freedom, the conceptual conductivity of the human body, the importance of emotions during a rite of passage, and the self-destructive nature of allowing your enemy to become your deity. Asar introduces to us a poetic discourse that is deeply rooted in an ethnopoetics whose tradition has heavily influenced the art of our time, such as Hip Hop. The themes range widely from the metaphysical (I am that I am), to the bliss of love (Let me love you), to the power of self-affirmation (I'm so Black), to the pure indulgence in classic word wizardry (Still not convinced). Esodus: Internal Reflections and Conversations with the Sun is sure to inspire you to think big, think often, think critically, and expand the boundaries of your imagination.

They Didn't Do What I Told Them to Do

Just before I married for the third time, I noticed a dark cloud hanging over the heads of at least 30 percent of the women walking into the church on Sunday mornings and wondered why, because the men looked fine. At a marriage counseling session with my third husband, the Lord told me why:They Didn't Do What I Told Them to Do.Soon after He told me, He took it from my remembrance and my life became a living testimony to that very fact. After my divorce in 2005, I began to learn what it took to be obedient, be free from oppression, and live a life pleasing to the Lord, and it started with the making of this book.
