Many people want someone who will change their lives for the better,¿ says Dana Grubb. ¿Jesus Christ . . . changed the lives of everyone He met.¿From the woman with a bad reputation whom Jesus encountered at a well in Samaria to a woman healed of a crippled back to the mother of two of Jesus¿ disciples to Mary Magdalene, who Jesus healed of demon possession, the study involves the participant while also presenting each woman¿s story in her own words.¿I hope and pray that through this study you will see Jesus as the only one who can truly change lives¿and that you¿ll experience a changed life through your encounter with Him,¿ Dana Grubb states. So he got to work writing The Prostate Monologues. Through the lens of his own experience, McCallum attacks the nitty-gritty questions about prostate cancer that men think about (but may be too bashful to ask their doctors) with honesty and humor. For example, “When is it safe to attempt intercourse, or at least, self-inflicted orgasm?” Or, if you have surgery, “What’s it like the first time you shop for adult diapers?” With wry humor, McCallum decodes the sometim...

South Bethlehem

The story begins in 1848, when the Moravian Brethren sold 274 acres of farmland to investors who resold them as building lots. By 1855, Asa Packer had laid the tracks of his Lehigh Valley Railroad along the Lehigh River, bringing coal from Carbon County to markets in New York and Philadelphia. Industries rapidly grew, with the Pennsylvania and Lehigh Zinc Company in 1853 and the Saucona Iron Company in 1857. By 1865, South Bethlehem became a borough. Charles M. Schwab headed the former Iron Company in 1906, renaming it the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, and was instrumental in uniting the Bethlehems as one city in 1918. Countless immigrants shaped the tone of this region. Today the Sands Casino occupies part of the former Bethlehem Steel site. It is the future home of art and music venues that will contribute to a city already known for its historic and cultural heritage.?
