Boken är observationer från futsalspel i Sverige sedan 2002, som Ove Holmberg då startade via uppvaktningar av SvFF för att få gehör för futsal som sport. Innan dess hade vi spelat five-a-side, en vildvuxen subjektiv variant av innefotboll. Boken baseras främst på hans egna internationella upplevelser som coach med Team Sweden, det inofficiella landslaget samt dövlandslaget som han coachade i tre år.
