Entre a estética filosófica ocupada com a problemática universalista do belo, os estudos de comunicação centrados no impacto ideológico da indústria cultural, as pesquisas de marketing à caça de consumidores e os levantamentos estatísticos destinados a orientar as políticas públicas empenhadas na democratização do acesso à cultura, o gosto foi, tradicionalmente, um objeto de estudo pouco dignificado na hierarquia temática vigente nas ciências sociais brasileiras. Diante desse que se acredita ser um campo emergente de pesquisa, as contribuições reunidas em As Lógicas Sociais do Gosto investigam a gênese social das preferências em diferentes domínios artísticos, apreendendo as predileções e competências culturais na ótica dos processos de valorização e depreciação social que estruturam a vida em sociedade.
Tecnologias em Pesquisa
O presente livro reúne vários resultados de pesquisa apresentados e selecionados por pares durante o V Seminário de Pesquisa, Pós-graduação e Inovação realizado em novembro de 2017 na Regional Catalão da Universidade Federal de Goiás. Os artigos organizados em forma de capítulos abrigam temas variados dentro da área de Engenharia caracterizando sua multidisciplinaridade e que é uma das vocações marcantes da Regional Catalão. O título do livro reflete as questões presentes nesta característica e apresenta uma sequência do que já vem sendo produzido durante os últimos anos em nossa Regional. De uma maneira geral, os trabalhos abrangem pesquisas que vão desde a simulação de processos visando obter produtividade em sistemas industriais, previsão do comportamento de estruturas e materiais na construção civil, automobilística e de mineração passando, inclusive, por tecnologia assistiva e finalizando com métodos de otimização e suas aplicações em problemas de Engenharia.
