Black Jack McEwen
John McEwen, thirty-seven years a politician, twenty-three days a Prime Minister and always a farmer, was an extraordinary mix of a man. His staff revered him and his adversaries feared him. David McEwen did not set out to be a writer. He grew up on the family farm outside White Lake, Ontario attending high school in Arnprior with a dream of being a forest ranger. His teen years were spent working on the family farm, preparing for forestry college and working with horses at a riding establishment started by his father and uncle which included competing in horseshoes and amateur rodeos.

He wants to emphasize that there is NOTHING impossible if you make your mind up to achieve it!
