The Sub

Excerpt from The Sub: Being the Autobiography of David Munro, Sub-Lieutenant, Royal Navy The Sub may be criticised in that it devotes too much Space to pre-hostility days and too little to the present war; but it has been my principal aim to give some idea of the life and training of the boy who enters the Royal Navy as a cadet through the Colleges at Osborne and Dart mouth. Moreover, I hope in a future volume (to give further war experiences of sub-lieutenant David Munro. I was not at Osborne myself, and my thanks are due to various brother officers, and to the author of that excellent little book Fromfor cert information concerning the life of a cad at the run Colleges. Awakening

James Carsell-Brown is a time traveller. He finds himself in the future, where he encounters an attractive young lady. Unknown to James, she is the ghost of the woman who took her own life. He is thrown back to 1916; before the gruesome act occurs. He investigates what caused her to end her life. But can he prevent her suicide? Is time on his side or his enemy? Returning to the future, James makes a startling discovery, changing his life forever. To investigate further, he visits Edinburgh, where yet another shock awaits him. Is the death of the young woman related? Awakening by David Munro is the third in his time travel The Time Jigsaw series and fits in well with the first two books unique mix of tense, fantasy, time travel.
