The Regime of Demetrius of Phalerum in Athens, 317-307 BCE
Erudite and urbane, a scion of the Peripatos, Demetrius of Phalerum dominated Athenian political life for a decade (317-307 B.C.E.) with Macedonian support. Viewed by some as the embodiment of the longed-for 'philosopher-king', Demetrius has been seen a test case for the interplay of philosophical training and political praxis in antiquity. This book, through a close re-examination of the fragmentary and diffuse testimonia for Demetrius decade, argues that such a view misunderstands his legislative, constitutional and financial reforms, which should rather be seen within the context of Macedonian suzerainty, Athenian self-interest, and contemporary social changes. Such a context also affords a better understanding of the dynamic relations between the Macedonian generals and the preeminent Greek city at the dawn of the Hellenistic era.

Este libro brinda herramientas para abordar los dispositivos de acompañamiento terapéutico en diferentes ámbitos: clínico, grupal, institucional y comunitario. Analiza el devenir del AT, desde sus orígenes en la clínica centrada en los procesos subjetivos hasta el trabajo en el campo comunitario. Existen intensos debates en relación a las concepciones teóricas en que se basa el ejercicio del rol que hoy incluye el trabajo con niños y adolescentes, la inserción de la familia en los dispositivos, el espacio de las tecnologías en la vida cotidiana, la labor en las instituciones de internación, el lugar de los equipos y la interdisciplina en el armado de los dispositivos y el papel de los acompañantes terapéuticos en cada uno de estos espacios. A la vez, la tarea en el campo comunitario, en vulnerabilidad social, restitución de derechos e intersecciones en el ámbito de lo judicial interroga la perspectiva colonial sobre la salud mental y el AT. Estas nuevas y viejas experiencias exigen fundamentar su tarea para garantizar prácticas coherentes y eficaces.
