Aktuil’ is the name of a music magazine fi rst published on 8th June 1967 in Bandung. Th e origin of the word ‘Aktuil’ is taken from a Netherland-published music magazine ‘Actueel’. Although Aktuil is not the fi rst music magazine in Indonesia, but Aktuil became a phenomenon at that time. Aktuil became one of the factors in the development of art in Indonesia, especially in music and literature.
