Beyond the Far Mountain
In the rough 1880s coal mining town of Jericho, West Virginia, young Jonas McNabb is unjustly accused of knifing a man and is forced to flee into the mountains, one step ahead of the law, but in spite of this, he doubles back, in a daring move, to assure Laura Becker of his innocence, and his love. Now, Jonas faces a treacherous winter in the Appalachian Mountains and must call upon every ounce of his courage and resolve to survive, driven by the need to somehow clear his name and return for Laura. His chances for success rely heavily upon a fortuitous encounter with a crusty old mountain man, Jebediah, and the wondrous wolf/dog, Savage, who with uncanny insight, always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Brief Encounters
Falzoi presents a series of short stories aimed at adults and young adults. These stories tend to have an edge--spine-tinglers, the bizarre, risque, even absurd. Toss in a few sports stories and some steeped in Americana. You might refrain from reading these late at night. Blood Brothers
Farley Crowell, Sheriff of Great Falls, Arkansas, discovers explosives planted in the dam that overlooks his town. The town and all its citizenry could be in danger. He suspects that a new business recently established in Great Falls might be involved. Farley has never had to unstrap his pistol in his ten years as Police Chief. But as events take a serious, even deadly turn, gunplay becomes rampant and Crowell lays his life on the line attempting to rescue his abducted girlfriend.

Jonathan and Leah live in the "Valley", an isolated area surrounded by mountains, where the lifestyle is stuck in the mid-1800's, and the people are subjected to a strict, distorted belief system. Due to his questioning of the Valley's laws and beliefs, Jonathan is labeled an "Outcast" and restricted from association with other Valley people, including his family. On the sly, he and Leah fall in love, and the only way they can have a life together is to escape the Valley. This they manage to do, but now they face an unknown world, the world of the 21st Century. They were used to horse-drawn wagons and lanterns and dirt roads; how will they react to electricity, automobiles, airplanes, TV's and computers? To complicate matters, Jonathan fears they will be followed by a Valley person intent on killing them to assure no word of the Valley reaches the outside world. A novel of adventure, survival, romance, and intrigue.
