Rumania; a Bibliographic Guide
Although this work is not a bibliography of bibliographies in the strict sense of the word, it is still valuable to the purpose of "selecting materials relevant to the study of Romania". The first part of it is a bibliographical survey. It opens with a concise description of bibliographies and general reference works. Distinct chapters are devoted to the land, the people, history, politics and government, law and justice, social conditions, economics, religion, intellectual life, language and literature. Each of them includes a bibliography of specialized topical bibliographies. Apart from the table of contents, a detailed bibliographical listing makes this work easily accessible. Since the publications listed in this bibliography are accompanied by a location symbol, this work is also a useful tool to locate monographs on Romania held in US libraries.

Bibliographie zur Kultur und Landeskunde der Bukowina 1996-1999
Diese Bibliographie ist bemuht, die einschlagigen Publikationen zum Thema Bukowina moglichst vollstandig zu erfassen. Das Land, Geologie und Geographie, Flora und Fauna, Geschichte und Statistik, Stadte und Gemeinden, Bevolkerung und Volkskunde, Bildungswesen und Kirchen, Kunst und Kultur, Wirtschaft und Biographien sind die Hauptthemen dieser Sammlung, neben sehr vielen Untergliederungen der verschiedensten Art. Auf dem Gebiet der "biographischen Arbeiten", die einen bemerkenswert grossen Anteil der Titel umfassen, soll eine brauchbare Grundlage geschaffen werden fur ein immer noch fehlendes, deutschsprachiges biographisches Lexikon der Bukowina. Hilfreich ist diese bibliographische Sammlung vor allem auch auf Gebieten, die bislang noch nicht grundlegend und wissenschaftlich behandelt wurden, wie z.B. der Wirtschaftsgeschichte.
