What I didn't get in therapy is that there is a ME beyond who I thought myself to be. I didn't get in therapy that the "ME in me" is Miraculous Existence. Under normal circumstances, the elements of spirituality are all but cast out of a therapy session. In therapy, we acknowledge the emotions, thoughts and sensations of our bodies, but we don't address the in-dispensable Spiritual aspect of the human experience, without which we would not exist.
