Synopsis of the History of the Emigrant Edward Griffin
Chiefly a record of the life of Edward Griffin or Griffith. He came to the United States in 1635, settled in Virginia, was detained in Maryland for a time, and later went to the Dutch Colony of New Amsterdam ca. 1640. He bought and sold land in the Long Island area. He and his wife Mary, and their sons with their families, lived in Flushing.
Life Takes a Turn
Life often presents us with change and it's usually memorable. "Oh," we say, "that happened to me in 2003." When life takes a turn, we are different after it. We may be stronger, happier or more alive. Of course, the opposite is true also. Frequently life presents us with a turn in the path, but sometimes we leave the trail and set our own course.
