Step into an innovative collection of poetry by Emily Ramser. I Forgot How To Write When They Diagnosed Me, tackles a selection of topics through the form of found poetry, a form in which the poet uses other resources to create their work. Typically these black out poems are constructed using newspaper articles or larger texts not meant for poetry. Ramser blacks out and intense collection of work, one that would require the readers full attention during this unfamiliar realm of literature. Weasel Press is excited to release and back this latest experimental art form!

Emily Ramser is releasing her first chapbook of raw and intense poetry with Weasel Press. The collected works soon to be released will be a review into the idea of sexuality and religion. Emily plays around with a diverse set of topics and structural form of poetry in this impactful collection. Weasel Press is a new independent publisher still figuring things out in the literary world. We're dedicated in seeking quality writers and helping them get a voice in an already loud world. We're a little rusty at the moment since things are still under construction, but we hope to build a great reputation! Our first publication was Vagabonds: Anthology of the Mad Ones, a literary magazine that is still printing and still growing. From there we've grown into a few other titles. This past year we've released two issues of Vagabonds, partnered with Mind Steady Productions to bring an electric issue of Open Mind, and dove into the darker world with The Haunted Traveler. We've got a lot of plans for the near future, so stick around and watch us grow into something awesome! http: //www.weaselpress.com

The poems in Emily Ramser's Uhaul are irrevocably human while living in the intimacies of new love. Uhaul is a book of devotional poems that is forthright in its convictions, whether those convictions are romantic, carnal, or obsessive. Ramser comes out in declaration in the title poem "Queer," as she "almost gagged on my own tongue" in an almost denial of her own "queerness" to her lover, only then to dive right into acceptance of self and love as the "writing" of "all these poems about caressing your hipbones and cheekbones" begins with a "hickie in the shape of a heart is left on my breast" by her muse: as the searing burn of love melts any remaining doubts as to where this is going. We harbor the mad ones. People who are dedicated to their work to the point that they become misunderstood, or seen as a hot mess of crazy. Our anthology does not seek to break boundaries, we want to break boundaries and go farther. We want the shameless-the deep dark, cigarettes and dirty words combo. Although there is not a set theme of what we're looking for, we often look at slice of life works. Works featuring the life of the nameless, whether it's the brighter side or if it's the pure filth. This latest edition to our zine is no exception. Readers will be rather surprised with the energy that is brimming throughout the pages of this collection of work. We would like to welcome you to another explosive edition to Vagabonds: Anthology of the Mad Ones!

Global Perspectives on Digital Literature

Global Perspectives on Digital Literature: A Critical Introduction for the Twenty-First Century explores how digital literary forms shape and are shaped by aesthetic and political exchanges happening across languages and nations. The book understands "global" as a mode of comparative thinking and argues for considering various forms of digital literature—the popular, the avant-garde, and the participatory—as realizing and producing global thought in the twenty-first century. Attending to issues of both political and aesthetic representation, the book includes a diverse group of contributors and a wide-ranging corpus of texts, composed in a variety of languages and regions, including East...
