Este livro foi organizado para atender à formação dos internacionalistas: articular, em uma mesma obra, capítulos que possam suprir as necessidades de conhecimentos específicos, porém, já aplicados às particularidades dos cursos de Relações Internacionais (RIs). A proposta deste livro não é renovar o debate teórico, mas oferecer subsídios para que os estudantes consigam enfrentar alguns dos principais temas essenciais para as RIs. Ao invés de apresentarmos ideias novas, optamos por debater os pilares elementares, para que, a partir daí, cada um possa se especializar na área de sua preferência. É essencial ressaltar que os capítulos deste livro não dispensam a leitura dos textos clássicos e consagrados da área: nosso projeto apresenta aos leitores um manual de Relações Internacionais, que não os exime da necessidade de buscar a literatura original como forma de aprofundar seus conhecimentos.
