Pengembangan pembelajaran IPA dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan penguatan pada Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) berbasis Technological Pedagogical Content and Knowledge (TPACK). TPACK merupakan penggabungan antara teknologi, pedagogik, dan konten yang diterapkan sesuai dengan konteks dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, dengan SSP berbasis TPACK dapat membantu ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan memudahkan siswa untuk mengonstruksi konsep dan pengetahuan yang diperoleh sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangannya. Buku ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami materi tentang integrasi TPACK sebagai kompetensi yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh seorang calon pendidik.
