El "Comentario sobre el Apocalipsis" de Ecumenio en la controversia cristológica del siglo VI en Bizancio
El presente libro recoge el fruto de la investigación que el autor ha realizado en el marco del proyecto “Manuscritos y Textos Bizantinos” FFI 2009-10860 del MICINN dirigido por la Dra. Dª Inmaculada Pérez Martín. Después de constatar la falta de estudios en lengua española sobre el primer comentarista en lengua griega del libro del Apocalipsis, el autor de la presente obra ha estimado oportuno realizar una exposición global y completa de la teología que Ecumenio presenta en su Comentario sobre el Apocalipsis, además de ofrecer una introducción histórica sobre la controversia cristológica que se produjo en Bizancio en el siglo VI. No se puede pasar por alto la colaboración del profesor de la Universidad de Navarra, Dr. D. Lucas Francisco Mateo Seco, traductor al español de este escrito de Ecumenio, que ha dirigido el presente trabajo, presentado como tesis doctoral en la Universidad Eclesiástica San Dámaso de Madrid.
