Frederick Lathrop Gleason Diaries
Diaries, including a weather journal, kept by Frederick L. Gleason while he was living in Hartford, Connecticut. The weather journal spans 1854 to 1863. By 1878 Gleason was living in Middletown where he lived until his death. His widow, Martha, then returned to Hartford. Entries describe Gleason's daily activities.
Genealogy of the descendants of Thomas Gleason of Watertown, Mass
Thomas Gleason (1607-1686) married Susanna Page, and emigrated before 1642 from England to Watertown, Massachusetts, moving about 1654/1655 to Cambridge, and in 1658 to Charlestown, Massachusetts. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Missouri, Kansas, California and elsewhere. Name was spelled "Leeson" in early records.
