Praise forHow to Live a Life of Adventure After reading the first 20 chapters, I was ready to tackle a grizzly bear, wrestle a sea lion and climb Mount Everest. Not only does Wooldridge inspire you to live a maximum life, he shows you how to do it. I loved the adventures between every instructional chapter. Praise for the book: "Losing Your Best Friend covers one of the most ignored emotional issues in America today. Our high speed society causes 20 million households to change addresses annually. No one knows the emotional damage caused by friends losing touch with each other. This book not only addresses different aspects of losing your buddy but it gives ideas on how to heal yourself when you lose a dear friend." Glen Hamilton "I don't usually cry, but I cried at some of the histories of the people in this book because their stories are my story. I lost my dad at an early age. My best friend in high school dropped out of my life. This book answered several of my life-long emotional aches." F...

Our government has been pissing me off for years and finally it boiled over. Both parties have been creeping towards Socialism for years. Obama and the Democrats have socialism on steroids! The Republicans have been more subtle about it. I thought we had some hope when the Republicans gained the House. Speaker John Boehner is not much better than Pelosi. He caved on the debt ceiling and gives too much ground to Obama. Obama, his Czars and 98% of the Democrats are the most corrupt gang of thieves in history. The reason the government hates the Mafia and drug cartels is because they are competing with our government. With subsidies and the printing of money by the Feds $ billions or $ trillions have disappeared into a "black hole." There are millionaires being made within our government. There is no accountability at all. A Republican House is allowing this to happen. Bernie Madoff will spend the rest of his life for doing the same thing in the private sector.
In this life, relish the highs, endure the lows, and savor the in-between times. Pedal into those sunrises that light the sky with promise. Savor those elegant sunsets with their exclamation point to a glorious day on your bicycle. Remember the good, bad, and ugly moments. Stand tall that you possessed the courage to explore the world on your iron steed. It carried you into your dreams where you traveled into those epic moments of wonder, awe, and majesty.
"Few challenges throughout history will affect the course of human events like the topic of this book. Immigration, both legal and illegal, will determine if America is to survive as a viable, prosperous nation into the 21st Century or sink into the depths of poverty. Wooldridge offers a thorough examination of this topic with exhaustive research and critical thinking." Kenneth R. Hampshire, President, Advanced Health Group "This book is the first of its kind. The impact is powerful and undeniable in reporting damages caused by the immigration invasion. The human flood pouring over our borders carries disease, crime, violence, lawlessness and chaos. National security is endangered by the "Tr...
Denver's beloved columnist Gene Amole stunned readers of the Rocky Mountain News in October 2001 when he announced in his column that he was dying. He passed away six months later, just shy of his 79th birthday. This book presents Amole's powerful, poignant, and first-person account of his last days.
Living in the city of Guanajuato is nothing like living the Gringo Landias or Gringo Gulches of San Miguel de Allende or Puerto Vallarta. No information exists in book form to guide the potential expat to a new life in central Mexico. Expatriating to Guanajuato is different and unique. Unlike San Miguel de Allende or Puerto Vallarta, there is not a huge gringo community here that acts as a support buffer for "newbies". Nor is English as widely spoken as it is in other areas where expats live. Doug and Cindi Bower spell out the differences between living in Guanajuato and living in other areas where expats have traditionally congregated. They offer a survival manual for the potential expat.
