The Cultural Labour of Mankind

Scientific Essay from the year 2010 in the subject Cultural Studies - Basics and Definitions, course: Interkulturelles Management, language: English, abstract: The 'labouring' of cultures, nations and religions is symptomatic of the whole of creation's gravitation towards unity. The wars of diversity are but a reshuffling and reconfiguration of the totality. We look into the direction of the diverse components. Yet, it actually is about the total which integrates. The singularities of diversity are bound for a singular unity. The integration of the universe of universes will reveal the mystery of life. What cannot be found in the parts will make sense when the whole becomes evident. It is im...

Scientific Essay from the year 2010 in the subject Cultural Studies - Miscellaneous, language: English, abstract: Cultural identification sets in motion cycles of competitive identifications, self-perpetuating dualistic endless loops, which depending on their intensity, may escalate into major conflict unless the waves or the cultural identification and affirmation can subside. Once the cycles of waves are set in motion they assume a dynamic of their own beyond human control. That is how conflicts surge cyclically, which get out of hands once cycles have been set in motion through the over affirmation of one or more cultural players. They can set in motion the entire see of life. Ironically, the search for stability on the ocean of life, which has a natural dynamic of its own, leads to the very opposite, to major turbulences.

Meditation As Mediation Through The Culture Of Truth

Document from the year 2010 in the subject Cultural Studies - Miscellaneous, , language: English, abstract: There is no other formula than that of Truth. No problem can be solved independently from it. So make sure you connect to Truth. Not you solve the problem. Truth solves it. Such is the power of Truth. Only Truth is. If you are not in Truth, you are actually not, because Truth is the only true reality. Everything else is untrue, unsubstantial and unsustainable. Nothing can exist outside Truth, because only in Truth - that Truth which transcends the myriad cultural constructions of truth - true existence is. There can be no problem within Truth. If a problem occurs it is outside Truth. The solution consists in replacing yourself within the realm of Truth. There is no other problem resolution.

Scientific Essay from the year 2010 in the subject Cultural Studies - Miscellaneous, , course: Interkulturelles Management, language: English, abstract: The notion of totality can escape the mind, as the mind or rather the way it is used, is itself merely a part of the whole. The description of the whole from the vantage point of its parts involves a pioneering approach aimed at finding out to what extent the human mind and spirit can expand their horizon to approach that which is meant by totality or the whole. Can it rise to a level where it is at least more capable of reflecting totality? It implies an encounter or a rendezvous between the more relative and the more absolute, to put it modestly. Culture has been defined as difference, as patterns of difference, as parts of the whole. The vaster can contain its more modest parts. It is difficult for the part to also cover the whole unless it can stretch to the horizon of the whole. As a part of the whole it partakes in that whole and can realize more or less of the totality of its holistic context.

Scientific Essay from the year 2010 in the subject Cultural Studies - Miscellaneous, language: English, abstract: If one analyzes the past, one notes that, for thousands of years, the same roundabout has been going on and perpetuating itself over centuries and millennia; the same cycles at the individual and the diverse social levels are enacted across time, space and cultures, albeit with culture-contingent nuances - as though that was the only way of being.

Research Paper (undergraduate) from the year 2010 in the subject Business economics - Business Management, Corporate Governance, , course: Interkulturelles Management, language: English, abstract: Mankind needs this agent today more than ever to do the integrative work which is its nature. The moment it emerges the integration is completed. All diversity questions are resolved. As long as it does not emerge none are solved nor can they ever be solved sustainably without it. We need it today more than ever because of unprecedented diversity challenges during the course of globalization and the unprecedented challenges and antagonisms that come with it. It is the only solution to intercultural hate. And it is because of this hate that we need it and first and foremost because it is the only power in the world that can heal it. Neither science nor technology nor psychology nor philosophy nor in particular intercultural research can provide sustainable solutions, beyond the analysis of the situation from a far too relative and limited vantage point of the mental, psychological approaches alone.

Essay from the year 2011 in the subject Cultural Studies - Miscellaneous, course: Interkulturelles Management, language: English, abstract: If there is no love, do what you will, it only creates more misery. Those are roughly the words which have been spoken by a wise man. The preaching of churches, mosques, temples and synagogues, the philosophies, culture gurus, everything that is taught in schools, academies and universities therefore seems utterly meaningless if it lacks that fundamental value of values and is bound to become counterproductive individually and socially over time. No value can have any worth unless it is based on love. Without it no solution in any area of life can be truly and lastingly satisfactory.
